Estonia Weekly: Western Propaganda and Deportations

This week mostly talked about the way the West has affected the population, how it is affecting the youth of today and of the past, and why people should turn away from the western countries' cultures in order to maintain their state of mind.

Main narratives:

  • The west lies about how life there actually is and has hypnotized the younger generations
  • Estonia will be deporting those who either have or are attempting to obtain Russian citizenship while living on a visa in Estonia

Overview:

This week mostly talked about the way the West has affected the population, how it is affecting the youth of today and of the past, and why people should turn away from the western countries’ cultures in order to maintain their state of mind. Many times it was brought up how the Estonian government was working to rid the country of Russians by taking away their visas, with some claims of this saying that it would be done without telling the people. There were also many articles posted about the United Nations meeting in which the Estonian Prime Minister took a photo with Lukashenko, while Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia did not. This narrative also wrapped into the invasion of Ukraine and Belarus’s involvement.
