In the examined week, the content primarily surrounded domestic issues concerning trade with Russia and Belarus and corruption within the Latvian government, most notably the alleged wages paid in cash within the leading coalition party Jaunā Vienotība. Regarding the form of the content, TikTok remains the platform that creates the most engagement and reaches a larger audience; videos on Facebook are receiving significantly lower views and engagement compared to prior examined months. In addition, TikTok content, even created in Latvian language, can reach the Russian-speaking audience as they contribute to the majority of engagement within the comment section despite the videos being in Latvian.
